About me
Tom Banks
I am the editor of Design Week, an online magazine for the design industry. I've worked as a journalist since 2005, initially writing about music before focusing on design. In my time with Design Week I've been a reporter, senior reporter, news editor and editor. I've run design awards, spoken at and moderated events, worked on videos and podcasts, contributed to newspapers and BBC programmes, and been a guest lecturer at universities. I've also received thousands of pitches from designers, creatives and the PRs who sometimes represent them. Now I'm on a mission to help designers form better relationships with journalists and get their work published.
